Job Title: Volunteer Domestic Violence Prevention Blogger (remote opportunity)
Attention all passionate writers and advocates for domestic violence prevention! We are seeking a volunteer blogger to join our team and contribute to our mission of raising awareness and promoting prevention of domestic violence.
As a volunteer Domestic Violence Prevention Blogger, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content related to domestic violence prevention. Your posts will be published on our website and shared on our social media channels, helping to educate and inspire our audience.
To be considered for this position, you should have a strong understanding of domestic violence prevention, as well as excellent writing skills and a passion for advocacy. You should also be able to commit to creating at least one post per month.
This is a volunteer position, but we offer the opportunity to gain valuable experience in writing and advocacy while making a positive impact on your community. Job Title: Volunteer Backpack for the Homeless/Empower Her Drive* Resource Acquisition Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a volunteer Backpack for the Homeless/Empower Her Drive Resource Acquisition Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the collection of items needed to fill backpacks for homeless individuals in our community.
Responsibilities:
- Reach out to potential donors and community partners to request items needed for backpacks, such as toiletries, non-perishable food, and warm clothing.
- Organize and track all donations received, including keeping inventory of items and maintaining records of donations.
- Work with our team to ensure that all backpacks are filled with the necessary items, and distribute backpacks to homeless individuals as needed.
- Assist with other tasks related to our Backpack for the Homeless/Empower Her Drive program, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of homeless individuals in our community.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
As a Volunteer Content Editor, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Editing and proofreading articles, blog posts, and other written materials to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to our style guide.
- Collaborating with our content team to develop and maintain an editorial calendar.
- Providing constructive feedback to writers to help improve their writing skills.
- Identifying potential content gaps and suggesting topics for future articles or blog posts.
- Ensuring all content is accurate, up-to-date, and free of plagiarism or copyright issues.
- Collaborating with our social media team to promote content and engage with our audience.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to the overall goals of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Collaborating with our content and design teams to ensure a cohesive and consistent brand image.
